We had such a great 4th of July weekend!

We watched a lot of fireworks,

and ate a lot of food!

Nora was such a good girl,

and she loved all of the festivities!

This little bug is 4 months old!

Where has the time gone?!

We took her swimming for the first time,

and she seemed to like it

even though it was a little chilly!

She weighs 12 lbs 5 oz,

and is 24 inches long!

She has rolled over a few times,

she eats her hands constantly,

she is starting to laugh,

she has insanely long eyelashes,

and she has the squishiest cheeks!

Nora's CAT Scan

Last month we took Nora girl to get a CAT Scan.

Her doctors were worried the bones

in the back of her head had prematurely fused together.

We were very worried she would need surgery

to fix the shape of her head.

Luckily her bones had NOT fused together,

and most likely she will only need a helmet

to correct the problem!

We are so grateful and relieved!

Thank you for all your love and prayers!

She was such a brave girl, and didn't even cry!

Remember how my sister and I were both due on February 17th?

Well, both of our babies decided to come a little early!

Nora and Lucy were both born on january 30th

just a few short hours apart.

We both delivered at the same hospital,

and by the same exact doctor!

It was so neat to go through this experience

with my older sister!

We even made the 10:00 news!

Nora Ruth has finally arrived!

Nora came sunday, January 30, 2011.

She weighed 7 lbs 5 oz, and was 19 inches long.

We were very surprised when my water broke

two and a half weeks early!

Corbin and I are so in love with our beautiful

baby girl, and are starting to adjust

to this whole parenting thing!

A couple of weeks ago I had spring break FROM WORK!

I got one entire week off.

Working at a middle school rocks my world!

Of course, most of the week the weather was horrible :(

I made the most of my days by shopping, cleaning, and sleeping.

Meet Lyla Mae Demartini. My sister TYSEN gave birth to this beautiful baby girl today! Isn't she a doll? I am so in love with her. Lyla was born with down syndrome. Our family is overcome with joy for this precious gift that we have been given.We had the same feelings when my niece BREE was born, who also has down syndrome. What are the chances that our family would be blessed with these two sweet angels? We are so excited for all of the sweet experiences that these two little girls will be able to share. I am so grateful for my entire family and every single one of my nieces and nephews and all of the joy they bring into our lives.

They are kinda obnoxious, but they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own.I got this ERASE PASTE from Sephora. I've never worn much make-up, but I love this stuff. Perfect for those ugly dark circles under my eyes!

A few weeks ago my parents took our family to ride The Polar Express! We wore our pajamas, drank hot chocolate, ate chocolate chip cookies, sang songs, saw Santa and Mrs. Clause, and read the book The Polar Express. We had a great time, and the kids loved every minute of it! Thanks mom and dad!

This past weekend the Cox family took a trip down to Mesa Arizona! We headed there for Shaley and Roman's pre-wedding open house! Shaley was also able to go through the temple for the first time while we were down there. We had a lot of fun hanging out and getting to know Roman's family. Corbin and I became official home owners yesterday! We bought the perfect little townhouse out in Springville! We will be getting our keys later today, and the plan is to move in tomorrow. My sister in law Caitlyn and I have been into do it yourself projects lately. We find old treasures nobody wants anymore, and give them a little update and makeover. On this particular outing to D.I. we found some really great stuff! It was a challenge to fit everything in the car, but we finally made it work. In case anybody was wondering, YES a full size door DOES fit into a kia Sorento! I should have listened to her when she said we should drive the truck! The ride home was a little uncomfortable and probably dangerous, but well worth it!

Last week one of my students that I help at Centennial Middle School passed away. He suffered from a degenerative disease called Hunters syndrome. To ensure Brigham's health and happiness, he spent his school days riding his bike all over the school! Brigham has touched my life forever, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Wisdom teeth bummer

I have been absolutely loving the weather lately! I've gotten to take Milo on lengthy walks, and I've gotten to ride my beautiful birthday bike! After seeing the seven day forecast I had been longing for the warm weekend! Sadly I won't get to enjoy it very much due to a surprise which involved having my wisdom teeth taken out! So while most of you are enjoying the warm weather I will be stuck inside with a fat face and an aching mouth! I did find the plus side though, I'll get caught up on my movie watching, I'll lay in bed all day with the puppy without feeling guilty, and that sweet husband of mine has been right by my side to fetch anything my heart desires! All the adult girls in my family were given Celine Dion concert tickets for Christmas more than a year ago! We have been waiting a VERY long time for her to come! It was for sure worth the wait! We had perfect seats and Celine is AMAZING! She is absolutely beautiful and her voice is unbelievable! It was our best time! It will be very hard to top this girls night! Last night I had the amazing opportunity of attending a benefit concert for Stephanie and Christian Nelson. I don't personally know Stephanie and Christian, but I have been deeply moved by their story. Last night could only be described as a spiritual experience. It was so amazing to see all the love and support people have shown them. The entertainment was also fabulous! If you haven't already you MUST check out Mindy Gledhill! I am really grateful that I was able to be apart of something so special!

Today marks two wonderful years that Corbin and I have been married! The time has flown by so fast. In celebration we took a road trip down to St. George for the weekend. We had such a great time! We went shopping, watched movies, ate lots of yummy food, and most importantly RELAXED! On Saturday we drove down to Las Vegas for the day, and the weather was so perfect. It was an amazing weekend! Last week Corbin and I got to take a last minute trip to Disney Land! We went with my brother Kris, my sister in law Kecia, and their three little girls Kyra, Adrie, and Bree! We had the best time ever! The park was decorated for Halloween and it was really cool. We couldn't have asked for better weather and the lines were actually pretty short! We had so much fun going on the smaller rides with the girls and watching the parades! We love Disney Land it is such an awesome place!

Corbin and I have added a new member to our family! As of now he goes by Milo, however we are open to suggestions. He is a malteepoo. He's such a sweet little guy! It's official and he is here to stay! It is my best day ever!

A couple of weeks ago we were able to go up to Salt Lake to support our niece Bree in the Utah Down Syndrome Buddy Walk! We had so much fun!
